Welcome to the Operations Management Course
Virtually every business entity has an operations aspect that serves as the business component responsible for producing its goods or services.
In addition, the Operations side of a business can also include all the supporting functions needed to run the enterprise: Administration, Facilities, IT, Finance, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, etc.
The role of Operations Management is defined as the management of the systems or processes that support creating and delivering the enterprise’s goods and/or services.
This course provides an overview of the various aspects of operations management and how it contributes to the profit and loss – or success – of an organization.
